FAREWELL TO THE “GOLDEN APRICOT”
On July 18 ended 7 th “Golden Apricot” film festival in Yerevan. The festival held July 11-18.
And during the festival were shown about 120 films.
The top award went to film “Cosmos” by Turkish director Reha Erden.
The Silver Apricot was awarded to “My Joy “by Sergey Lozintsa.
In the best Documentary Film nomination Golden Apricot was awarded to Pavel Kostomarov’s film “Together”.
In the Armenian Panorama Competition prize-winning film was the “The Last Tightrope Performer in Armenia” by Arman Yeritsyan and Inna Sahakyan.
The FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) Jury award has gone to Jasmila Zbanic for the film “On the Path”. The
Ecumenical Jury Award has been given to Suren Babayan, from Armenia, for his film “Don’t Look in the Mirror”.
